As a Senior Specialist Communication on our Corporate
team, you’ll play a vital part in building the
frameworks, relationships, and processes

Are you in? Your role Key responsibilities in your new role Develop, implement, and manage the Kulim site Internal Communications Plan in alignment with organizational goals, strategic priorities, and business objectives. Support communication initiatives that contribute to site KPIs, employee engagement, and organizational effectiveness. Partner with site leadership and management teams to develop clear, impactful, and consistent key messages for employees and relevant stakeholder groups. Ensure effective planning, delivery, and measurement of internal communication activities across all communication channels. Content Development & Employee Engagement Create engaging, relevant, and audience-focused content to support internal communication campaigns and employee engagement initiatives. Develop communication materials including articles, newsletters, announcements, speeches, presentations, videos, digital content, and leadership communications. Build a deep understanding of company priorities, key focus topics, and business developments to communicate effectively with employees. Coordinate and manage employee communication programs such as Quarterly All Hands Meetings (AHM), newsletters, leadership town halls, and promotions of site activities. Contribute regularly to the company’s e-magazine by showcasing site achievements, innovation initiatives, success stories, and employee highlights. Communication Channels Management Manage and continuously improve internal communication channels, including: Digital information screens, Intranet and sub-sites. Email broadcasts, Electronic newsletters, Notice boards ,Posters and workplace communications, Digital content management platforms Review, maintain, and enhance the Kulim site intranet and related sub-pages as the designated Intranet Content Master. Collaborate with IT and relevant stakeholders to develop and sustain an effective internal web portal and Info Screen (Xibo) that promotes communication, knowledge sharing, and collaboration across the organization. Ensure communication channels remain current, effective, engaging, and aligned with business priorities. Stakeholder Management & Governance Collaborate closely with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure communication consistency, message alignment, and effective information dissemination. Provide guidance on communication best practices, content quality, branding compliance, and approval processes. Establish and maintain communication standards, processes, and governance frameworks in accordance with corporate guidelines. Ensure all communication materials comply with corporate identity, brand standards, style guides, and communication policies. Act as the site focal point for branding and corporate identity matters. Define communication processes and provide expert guidance on branding, corporate design, and visual identity requirements. Review and approve communication collateral, promotional merchandise, event materials, videos, presentations, posters, gifts, and branded merchandise to ensure compliance with corporate standards. Ensure consistent application of corporate branding across all communication channels and site initiatives. Training & Capability Development :Facilitate sessions and guiding intranet content masters and editors. Drive excellence in communication and branding modules for New Hire Orientation programs and employee onboarding initiatives. Events & Production Support : Support site event communications activities and provide comms planning, coordination, and execution for major company events and programs. Manage content development, transition slides template, scripts, video production, flow management, and stakeholder coordination. Provide technical support and oversight for communication-related production activities, including audio-visual equipment, teleprompter operation, photography, videography, lighting, and sound systems. Regional & Global Collaboration Actively participate in CP Asia and CP Global communications initiatives, projects, and best-practice sharing forums. Collaborate with regional and global communication teams to exchange knowledge, align messaging, and support company-wide communication campaigns. Your profile Qualifications and skills to help you succeed Bachelor's Degree in Communications, Mass Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Strategic Communications, Media Studies, or other related disciplines. Minimum 3–5 years of relevant experience in Corporate Communications, Internal Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Strategic Communications, Media Studies, or related fields. Experience within a B2B semiconductor manufacturing/wafer fabs or high-tech industrial environment is highly desirable. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and Bahasa Malaysia, with strong proof reading and editing capabilities. Demonstrated ability to develop compelling communication materials across multiple platforms and formats. Strong understanding of communication technologies, digital platforms, and collaboration tools to improve work efficiency and engaging contents. Experience in creating visual, multimedia, and digital content, including videos, graphics, presentations, newsletters, and online communications. Knowledge of technical production requirements and communication equipment, including teleprompters, professional cameras, lighting systems, microphones, audio-visual setups, and event production tools. Excellent writing, editing, and storytelling skills. Strategic communication planning and execution. Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship management. Digital communications and content management expertise. Event communications and project management skills. Visual communication, multimedia production, and creative design capabilities. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Self-driven, proactive, and solution-oriented mindset. Strong team player with the ability to work across all levels of the organization. Proficiency in Microsoft 365 applications and digital communication tools platform. Experience with SharePoint, intranet management, and digital workplace platforms. Experience with graphic design, video editing, photography, and multimedia production. Knowledge of communication effectiveness analytics.
