1. Faculty Member Activities :
• Perform Teaching Activities :
- Disseminate and impart basic or applied knowledge to students
- Assist students with learning process
- Assessing student's learning
• Perform Research Activities :
- Participate actively in specific research projects
- Propose new topics for research projects
- Maintain a program of research, scholarship or artistic creativity through which they should aspire to a national or international reputation as scholars and promotion to the rank of Professor (academic specialist rank)
- Contribute to their disciplines through publishing articles and books, presenting reserach findings or disseminating their work to external audiences
• Perform Community Services :
- Participate actively in community service programs
- Propose new program for community service
2. Operational Management
• Monitor the activities related to curriculum and teaching process by coordinating it with SCC / CCC :
- Maintain the operational table
- Maintain the composition of course grade estimation in every exam (UAS/UTS/TM)
- Monitor the implementation of peer review and sit in activities
- Prepare the partner and Faculty Member for Global Learning System
• Perform and monitor the activities related to Faculty Member :
- Set schedule for selection process candidate of Faculty Member
- Conduct the teaching scheduling activities for Faculty Member, Associate faculty Member and/or assignment for other Department
• Assist Head of Department/Program in performing the following activities :
- Set schedule for discussion session with problematic Faculty Member
- Assist in the fulfillment of Faculty Member's quota
- Assist in monitoring the qualification development (JJA) of Faculty Members (including supporting data)
• Assist Head of Department / Program to manage compliance activities and conduct document support for Borang or other national/international standard
• Plan and implement alumni activities (e.g alumni engagement & endownment)
• Conduct laboratory scheduling activities by coordinating it with Head of Laboratory/Studio
• Act as public voice of the institution who promotes Faculty/School contributions locally, nationally and internationally, especially in marketing (open house) event activities
3. Operational Teaching Activities
• Perform and monitor activities related to teaching operational activities :
- Monitor the Faculty Member's attendance status in teaching preparation and examinaton meeting (e.g mid & final exam meeting)
- Responsible in appointing the respective Faculty Member for teaching assignment
- Finalize the teaching schedule for approval process
- Validate the examination schedule that made by respective operation Department/Program
- Inform the teaching and examination activities to all Faculty Members and students
- Monitor the teaching activities by using the web reporting
- Monitor the attendance of all Faculty Members
- Monitor the process of Faculty Members substitution
- Monitor the collection and distribution of examination materials
- Monitor the timely process of examination score submission
- Review the students examination score per semester
- Verify the process of examination score complaint
- Appoint thesis advisors and examiners based on their qualifications
- Assist the head of department/program for the approval process of student thesus to be proceed for thesis defense
- Ensure thesis defense session run according the schedule
- Prepare the substitution for thesis examiners
- Prepare the thesis guidelines
- Resolve student complaints
- Resolve the case between students and lecturers
- Monitor Department / Program meeting related to Faculty Member
- Monitor data of PDPT
- Register students, and prepare the readiness for national / international competitions
- Monitor the department/program website
- Monitor the student internship process arrangement
• Support practicum activities by coordinating it with Head of Laboratory/Studio to ensure practicum scheduling process
3. Student Activities
• Coordinate and monitor activities related to student activities by coordinating it related Units :
- Monitor and review periodically the student academic achievement
- Plan, implement and monitor the improvement activities related to students academic and non-academic achievement
- Coordinate the improvement activities related to student soft skills and attitude
- Monitor periodically the student study period and the fulfillment of credits (SKS)
- Monitor periodically the students community services implementation
Management Support Activities :
• Assist Head of Department/Program in developing monthly, semester, and annual report
• Provide improvement process to Head of Department/Program :
- Implementation of academic policy, annual Program plan and budget for department/program
- Disciplinary action and achievement of lecturers and students
- Service improvement for all stakeholders especially students and lecturers withis the Department/program
• Perform activities related to Quality Management System
• Perform additional tasks as required by direct supervisor
• Perform the role of lecturer as stated in Catur Dharma Perguruan Tinggi
General Requirement :
• Education Ph.D with relevant field of knowledge
• min 35 years
• Jenjang Jabatan Akademik : Lektor
Work Exposure/Experience :
• 5+ years of teaching experience
