About the Role

Pop.store is looking for a hands-on Performance Marketing Manager who is an expert in how to build, launch, optimize, and scale campaigns directly inside paid media platforms.

This is not a role for someone who has only managed agencies or reviewed dashboards. We need someone who is comfortable spending significant time inside Meta Ads Manager, Google Ads, and other acquisition platforms, making daily decisions around targeting, budgets, bidding, creative performance, tracking, and conversion.

You’ll own paid acquisition from campaign setup through optimization, working closely with creative, product, and lifecycle teams to improve trial and customer growth.

What You’ll Do

• Build, launch, structure, and manage campaigns directly inside Meta Ads Manager, Google Ads, and other relevant paid channels.
• Adjust daily spend, bidding strategies, campaign allocation, and scaling decisions based on performance.
• Track and improve metrics including CAC, CPL, CTR, CPC, conversion rate, trial acquisition cost, paid conversion, and ROAS.
• Understand what happens after the click and identify where users drop between ad → landing page → signup → trial → paid.
• Test audiences, campaign structures, bidding strategies, landing pages, offers, copy, hooks, and creatives.
• Work closely with designers, video creators, and copywriters to identify winning concepts and create clear briefs based on performance data.
• Set up, validate, and troubleshoot pixels, conversion events, UTMs, Google Tag Manager, GA4, and platform attribution.
• Quickly identify whether a drop in performance is caused by creative fatigue, audience saturation, tracking, landing-page conversion, bidding, or campaign structure.
• Pull data across platforms and turn it into clear recommendations on what to scale, pause, test, or fix next.
• Keep up with changes across Meta, Google, TikTok, and emerging paid acquisition channels and proactively test new opportunities.

What We’re Looking For

• Strong hands-on experience managing campaigns directly inside Meta Ads Manager, Google Ads, TikTok Ads.
• Experience owning meaningful paid media budgets and making daily optimization decisions.
• Strong understanding of campaign structures, audience targeting, retargeting, bidding, attribution, and conversion optimization.
• Comfortable working with GA4, Google Tag Manager, pixels, conversion APIs/events, dashboards, Excel/Google Sheets, and CRM or product funnel data.
• Ability to look beyond surface metrics like clicks and impressions and optimize toward customer acquisition and revenue.
• Strong analytical thinking with the ability to spot patterns, diagnose problems, and act quickly.
• Experience working closely with creative teams and turning ad performance data into better hooks, formats, messaging, and creative briefs.
• Comfortable operating in a fast-moving startup environment where priorities and experiments can change quickly.
• Strong ownership mentality - you should be able to independently identify what needs attention rather than waiting for instructions.
