Operations Analyst - Asset Services

We're seeking someone to join our team as an Analyst in Asset Services responsible for managing the timely and accurate processing of all Corporate Events which have an impact on security positions held by our clients. The group consists of the following teams: Voluntary Corporate Actions, Optional Dividends, Mandatory Dividends & Claims, Bond Corporate Actions, Global Risk Control, Coupons (Principal & Interest) and Proxy Voting.

In the Operations division, we partner with business units across the Firm to support financial transactions, devise and implement effective controls and develop client relationships. This is an Analyst level position within the Glasgow location.

What you'll do in the role:
- Process transactions/tasks within coverage area
- Respond to client requests with accuracy and speed, ensuring compliance with all policies and procedures
- Follow escalation framework, taking responsibility for identifying, escalating and preventing issues

What you'll bring to the role:
- Ability to build trust and find innovative ways to improve teamwork, functions/processes and create a positive work environment
- Understanding of business area supported, client requirements, and importance of not compromising control to comply with client requests
- Culture carrier across Operations, embracing the Firm's core values
- A good aptitude for working in a demanding fast paced environment.
- An ability to handle high volume workloads.
- At least 0-2 years' relevant experience would generally be expected to find the skills required for this role
