Junior Content Writer (Open to Fresh Graduates)

SUMMARY:

The Content Writer produces accurate, clear, on-brand product content for ZALORA Southeast Asia. The role requires strong written English, excellent attention to detail, and consistent execution of the content-writing SOP to meet daily productivity targets while maintaining quality standards. The role also requires disciplined tracking and timely communication to support smooth team delivery and QC turnaround.

Reports to: Production Manager

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Product Content Creation & Quality

• Create clear, concise, and consistent product descriptions for ZALORA website based on product information and images.
• Research and organize relevant product details (e.g., material, measurements, features, care) using approved sources.
• Proofread and self-check all outputs to ensure accuracy, completeness, and adherence to style guidelines.
• Perform quality checks on images, categories, attributes, and descriptions, ensuring correct formatting and classification.

SOP & Workflow Execution

• Follow the content writing SOP consistently, including correct templates and required fields 
• Maintain high discipline in avoiding recurring errors and applying learnings from QC feedback.

Tracking & Documentation

• Maintain accurate records in the content tracker, ensuring clear ownership and accountability
• Keep trackers updated to prevent missed updates and duplicated work.

Communication & Reliability

• Provide timely updates to leads/team regarding blockers, questions, and workload risks.
• Meet attendance and coverage expectations, including onsite reporting and operational requirements

Productivity

• Meet the daily quota and productivity standards set by the content team lead while maintaining quality expectations.

REQUIREMENTS:

Core Skills

• Excellent written English with strong grammar, clarity, and attention to detail.
• Ability to follow SOPs, style guides, and formatting standards consistently.
• Strong time management, prioritization, and ability to work in a high-volume environment.
• Comfortable working with trackers and tools (e.g., spreadsheets/content trackers) with high accuracy.
• Proactive communicator—able to escalate issues early and coordinate effectively with the team.

Work Setup & Availability

• Willing to work four days at MCX E‑Commerce Center, Muntinlupa City as scheduled
• Stable internet connection and a reliable home working environment for work-from-home (WFH) days.

Nice-to-Haves (Preferred)

• Familiarity with fashion and beauty terminology, including garment construction, materials, fits, and styling terms is a plus.
• Basic understanding of SEO writing principles (e.g., keyword-friendly phrasing without compromising readability and brand tone).
• Previous experience in e-commerce copywriting, product content writing, or marketplace/catalog content operations.
• Proficiency in Google Sheets / Microsoft Excel
• Bachelor’s degree in Communications, English, Journalism, Marketing, Fashion, or equivalent practical experience.
