Mercy Hospital is recruiting an emergency medicine physician (Family Medicine trained are welcome) for two critical-access hospitals located outside of Springfield in Aurora and Cassville, Missouri. We are a hospital-employed group with no partnership track/buy-in and equal parity, scheduling, and vote from day one! Mercy Hospital Aurora and Cassville:

• 25-bed, critical access hospital
• Annual ED volume of 11,000-13,000 patients
• Easy transfers (ground and air) to Mercy Hospital - Springfield, an 886-bed level I trauma center and tertiary catchment hospital for a four-state area
• Hospitalists available 24-hours per day for admissions
• No hospitalist work or inpatient rounding required
• MRI and CT available
• Basic emergency procedures are available including Glidescope and Ultrasound
• No trauma designation
• Less than 2 patients per hour
• EPIC EMR across Mercy
• Rated in the top 5% nationally for overall clinical excellence by Healthgrades
• Named in the top 100 critical-access hospitals in the US

Mercy Emergency Medicine Offers:

• Schedule completed three months in advance for a great work/life balance
• 12-hour shifts, 12 shifts per month – flexible and block scheduling available
• $50,000 signing bonus plus paid relocation
• Guaranteed hours/shifts and $205-$226/hour
• Immediate parity and equal rotation and scheduling among the group
• Supportive physician mentors, partners, and friends - group is stable
• NP/PA coverage each day
