Ontic is a rapidly growing aerospace manufacturer, privately owned by a leading global private equity firm CVC Capital Partners. Ontic’s Chatsworth, CA, site specializes in precision engineering, MRO, and new solutions for parts at risk of obsolescence. With over 1,800 employees across four time zones and ten sites, we have more than doubled in size since 2019 and are continuing to grow at pace.
Our team is looking for an FP&A Lead to join them. You will report to the Head of FP&A and will have an onsite work structure in Chatsworth, CA.
To be considered for the FP&A Lead opening, here’s what you’ll need to bring with you:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field.
- Advanced Excel and financial modelling capability.
- Strong analytical, presentation and communication skills.
- 5+ years of relevant FP&A experience
- Experience preparing budgets, forecasts, variance analysis or management reporting.
- Experience working with financial models, data analysis or performance reporting tools.
- Ability to work effectively with operational and finance stakeholders and translate financial information into practical actions.
- Experience in manufacturing or aerospace is desirable.
- Experience with Visual and OneStream is preferred.
As an FP&A Lead, you will:
- Prepare and analyse financial reporting, budgets, forecasts and business performance against key targets.
- Analyse sales, cost, margin, cash flow, inventory and operational KPIs to identify drivers and opportunities.
- Build and maintain financial models, management reports and analytical tools.
- Partner with operational leaders and Finance colleagues to strengthen performance management and financial decision making.
- Provide detailed variance analysis and recommendations based on actual performance versus budget and forecast.
- Lead or support special projects and process improvements that improve reporting and operational performance.
- Develop and maintain finance tools and data analysis capability across the supported business.

Compensation Pay Range
