Description
We are seeking an experienced Cytotechnologist for a full-time temporary travel contract in Glens Falls, NY. This opportunity is ideal for a skilled laboratory professional with expertise in cytology, Fine Needle Aspiration (FNA) evaluations, and quality assurance.
Position Details:

Key Responsibilities:
- Screen gynecologic and non-gynecologic cytology specimens for cancer and other pathological conditions.
- Identify and mark abnormal findings while providing preliminary diagnostic interpretations.
- Perform Rapid On-Site Evaluation (ROSE) using telepathology during Fine Needle Aspiration (FNA) procedures.
- Participate in quality control (QC) and quality assurance (QA) activities to ensure compliance with laboratory standards.
- Collaborate with pathologists and the laboratory team to deliver accurate, timely diagnostic results.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years of Cytotechnologist experience.
- Experience with EBUS, EUS, and Thyroid FNA procedures.
- Active ASCP Cytotechnologist Certification.
- Active New York Cytotechnologist/Clinical Laboratory Technologist License.
- Experience using Epic EMR/LIS.
