Commercial Operations Analyst

Job Summary

The Commercial Operations Analyst supports Sales Effectiveness and Commercial Operations activities across the North, Andean, and Brazil regions.

This role is responsible for commercial reporting, sales performance analysis, sales incentive support, commission validation, data governance, contract administration, pricing support, commercial systems administration, and operational processes that enable commercial teams to achieve their business objectives.

The position acts as a key partner to Sales, Commercial Excellence, Finance, and Customer Service stakeholders by ensuring the accuracy, availability, and integrity of commercial information while delivering operational and analytical support across multiple markets.

Key Responsibilities

Commercial Reporting & Analytics

• Prepare and maintain sales performance reports and dashboards.
• Generate sell-out reports and commercial performance insights.
• Consolidate commercial data from multiple systems and sources.
• Support business reviews and leadership reporting.
• Analyze customer, territory, product, and market performance trends.

Sales Effectiveness

• Support sales incentive and commission processes.
• Validate performance metrics used in compensation programs.
• Assist in annual sales target and quota-setting activities.
• Support sales performance tracking and effectiveness initiatives.

Commercial Operations

• Support pricing administration and price update processes.
• Support commercial contract administration activities.
• Maintain customer and product-related information.
• Support commercial systems and operational workflows.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to resolve operational issues.

Data Governance & Process Excellence

• Ensure commercial data accuracy, consistency, and completeness.
• Identify and resolve data quality issues.
• Develop and maintain SOPs and process documentation.
• Support continuous improvement and standardization initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls and governance requirements.

Stakeholder Management

• Partner with Sales, Commercial Excellence, Finance, Customer Service, and Operations teams.
• Provide support across North, Andean, and Brazil regions.
• Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders.
• Communicate operational risks, issues, and improvement opportunities effectively.

Professional Experience

• 2–3 years of experience in one or more of the following areas:
  • Commercial Operations
  • Sales Operations
  • Business Analytics
  • Commercial Excellence
  • Sales Effectiveness
  • Data Management
• Experience supporting commercial or sales organizations preferred.
• Experience working in regional or multinational organizations preferred.

Education & Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Economics, Finance, Data Analytics, or related field.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Power BI experience preferred.
• SAP experience preferred.
• Experience handling large datasets and reporting processes.

Languages

• English Level C1 required

Working Conditions

• Hybrid work model with 1 day/week working from our Bogota office. 
• Support for multiple markets and time zones across North America and Latin America.Flexibility may be required during key business cycles, incentive periods, month-end reporting, and commercial planning activities.
