A Day in the Life
The Cardiac Rhythm Management (CRM) business partners with healthcare professionals across India to expand access to therapies that help diagnose and treat cardiac rhythm disorders. This role is part of the downstream marketing function, responsible for developing and executing portfolio strategy, supporting product launches, driving therapy adoption, and enabling commercial success across a diverse healthcare landscape. The position works closely with regional sales teams and cross-functional partners to execute market development initiatives, strengthen customer engagement, and support business growth for the CRM portfolio.This position can be based in Gurgaon or Mumbai and follows a Flex work model. Travel up to 10% is required to support customer engagement, field collaboration, industry events, and strategic business initiatives across India.
As a Senior Marketing Specialist, you will lead downstream marketing initiatives for the Cardiac Rhythm Management portfolio across India. The role combines strategic planning, commercial execution, market development, and stakeholder engagement to drive portfolio growth. You will collaborate with global and regional teams, translate market insights into actionable strategies, and partner with sales teams to improve customer engagement, therapy adoption, and business performance.
Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.
- Develop and execute portfolio marketing plans, including competitive positioning, pricing strategy, revenue forecasting, budget management, and brand initiatives.
- Partner with global marketing teams to adapt regional strategies and implement market-specific growth plans.
- Lead product launch activities, including clinical messaging, pricing recommendations, sales enablement, and customer engagement programs.
- Manage inventory planning, demand forecasting, and portfolio performance to support business objectives and minimize obsolescence.
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities, market trends, and customer needs.
- Drive market development and patient awareness initiatives through physician engagement, digital campaigns, educational programs, and therapy adoption activities.
- Build and maintain relationships with key opinion leaders, healthcare stakeholders, and industry partners to support therapy expansion and portfolio growth.
- Collaborate with sales, regulatory, legal, clinical, public relations, and research and development teams to ensure aligned and effective execution of marketing strategies.
Required Qualifications
- Requires a Baccalaureate degree (or for degrees earned outside of the United States, a degree which satisfies the requirements of 8 C.F.R. § 214.2(h)(4)(iii)(A) and minimum of 4 years of relevant experience, or advanced degree with a minimum of 3 years relevant experience.
- Experience developing and executing marketing strategies, product launches, and commercial growth initiatives.
- Experience in market analysis, forecasting, pricing strategy, and business planning.
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams and managing multiple stakeholders.
- Experience presenting business insights and recommendations to customers, sales teams, or leadership audiences.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master of Business Administration.
- Experience in medical devices, cardiovascular therapies, cardiac rhythm management, or related healthcare markets.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft PowerPoint for business analysis and presentations.
- Experience leading physician engagement, therapy awareness, or market development initiatives.
- Experience working with global teams and supporting regional portfolio growth strategies.
