About Us
Kyriba is a global fintech leader empowering CFOs and finance teams with cloud-based treasury, payments, risk management and working capital solutions. We serve 3,000+ customers worldwide, managing $15 trillion in payments annually and helping businesses optimize liquidity performance across the enterprise.
We're on a mission to become the most sought-after cloud technology company globally. We think big, innovate relentlessly, and challenge the status quo every day. If you are a problem-solver who’s ready to push boundaries and achieve more than you thought possible-you'll find an exceptional career within an extraordinary business.
About the role;
We are delighted to be seeking a Legal Counsel to join our European Legal team, reporting into the Director, Legal EMEA. Based in Warsaw, Poland, you will support business operations across Europe by providing commercial and legal guidance to business units operating in the EMEA region. Your work will protect and enable Kyriba’s commercial relationships, ensuring we can grow with confidence while maintaining the highest standards of legal and ethical integrity.
About the team;
You will be working alongside a talented, innovative, and diverse team of legal professionals across Europe and the US. The European Legal team, headquartered in Paris, primarily focuses on supporting business activities in the EMEA region.
What You’ll Do
To achieve these outcomes, you will:
Provide legal guidance to Kyriba’s management team on commercial contract law, advising, negotiating, and drafting commercial contracts to protect and advance the company’s interests.
Manage transactional negotiations on local, regional, and global levels, ensuring deals are closed efficiently and in alignment with Kyriba’s business objectives.
Analyse, draft, and negotiate vendor and customer contracts, maintaining consistency with Kyriba’s internal policies and commercial strategy.
Serve as a collaborative legal partner to Sales, Marketing, Human Resources, Product Development, Security, and Compliance, enabling these teams to move quickly and compliantly.
Support data privacy matters, including GDPR compliance, advising on obligations and representing Kyriba’s interests in relevant negotiations and regulatory matters.
Create and maintain contractual templates, policies, procedures, and standard legal documents that are fit for purpose in a fast-moving international tech business.
Design and deliver training sessions and presentations on commercial law, company policies, regulations, and emerging legal topics relevant to the business.
What You Bring
Master of Laws (LL.M.) degree from a European university (Master 2/LLM equivalent), providing the foundation for practising commercial law in a European context.
Around 5 years of relevant experience in commercial transactions, ideally gained within or alongside a SaaS or technology company.
A collaborative spirit and a genuine desire to work cross-functionally, you are someone who positively influences peers and stakeholders rather than acting as a gatekeeper.
Prior experience in an international team environment, with demonstrated ability to negotiate and manage contracts in English and French. Strong ethical and moral compass and the ability to maintain high standards while balancing competing demands from internal and external stakeholders.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both French and English (German language skills would be considered a strong advantage) — you can explain complex legal issues clearly to non-lawyers.
Comfortable thriving in a challenging, fast-paced environment where priorities shift and speed matters.
Why You’ll Love This Role
You’ll be part of an international legal team, collaborating with colleagues across EMEA, APJ and Americas on commercially meaningful work.
This role offers visibility and impact, your work directly enables Kyriba’s growth across EMEA, and your expert advice will support Kyriba’s commercial interests.
You’ll have the opportunity to optimise and enhance Kyriba’s legal infrastructure, creating templates, policies, and training programmes that leave a lasting mark on the business.
Kyriba is on an exciting growth trajectory. Join us now, and grow with us.
