As an Armed Security Officer at a leading aerospace and defense location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support access control and response activities. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license and armed certification. You will deliver professional customer service and clear communication while working with integrity, teamwork, agility, reliability, and innovation.

- Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
- Conduct regular and random armed patrols of buildings, controlled areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity and help to deter unauthorized access.
- Monitor access points, verify credentials and visitor authorization, and support access-control procedures in accordance with site requirements.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following applicable armed post orders and emergency protocols.
- Prepare clear, accurate activity and incident reports, and promptly communicate relevant observations to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.
Minimum Requirements:
- Possess at least 2 years of security-related experience.
- Possess at least 3 years of combined law enforcement, military, and/or security-related experience or a college degree.
- Hold an active DoD Secret Clearance.
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Possess a Level III Armed Certification in Texas.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
