About the Role
The Director of Clinical Scheduling is responsible for overseeing Vision, Hearing and Podiatry scheduling and the Clinical Care Coordinators for Vision, Hearing and Podiatry, driving efficiency and accountability, and ensuring long-term client satisfaction. This role develops and executes scheduling strategies, mentors team members, and collaborates cross-functionally to enhance the customer experience and maximize service efficiency and delivery.
What You'll Do
- Lead and mentor Vision, Hearing and Podiatry Clinical Care Coordinator team to create efficient schedules.
- Work with Director of Customer Support to resolve client issues and complaints promptly to maintain trust and satisfaction.
- Work with scheduling teams for other service lines to ensure best user experience for our customers.
- Work with systems to identify gaps and find solutions to scheduling processes/procedures.
- Monitor scheduling efficiencies (patients scheduled per day, facility frequency) and adjust strategies as needed.
- Identify opportunities for improving scheduling processes and systems and implement with team.
- Collaborate with sales, marketing and product teams to ensure service delivery in new markets.
- Prepare and present reports on service delivery across markets.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and customer focus.
Requirements
What We’re Looking For
- Prior experience in a leadership role, manager experience preferred.
- Strong leadership, communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to analyze data and translate insights into actionable strategies.
Qualities You Have
- CRM proficiency (e.g. Salesforce, HubSpot).
- Strategic thinking and problem solving.
- Team development and performance coaching.
Physical Demands & Working Conditions
- Work is performed in our Overland Park office with minimal exposure to health or safety hazards. Substantial time is spent working on a computer.
