We are an international network of over 8.000 employees who share their knowledge, experience and ideas. We are the only stand-alone global mobility company, focusing entirely on the people that are growing their employers’ businesses.
At Vialto we create the connections that build global careers and societies, bridging the gap between people and their aspirations. As the world of work continues to evolve, we are bringing together the individuals, ideas and technology to unlock business and human growth.
If you’re looking for a challenging, exciting job, look no further!
Job description
As part of a client team, you will advise corporate HR, Tax and Global Mobility contacts on wage tax, personal income tax and social security consequences of employing people in an international context, including expats, remote workers and board activities. You will have direct client interaction and take ownership of day-to-day advisory and compliance matters, helping clients and individual taxpayers navigate complex cross-border situations and translate technical tax matters into practical, client-focused solutions.
You function as the bridge between the individual, several stakeholders in the company and the tax authorities. In this role, you will further develop niche expertise in global mobility tax and experience first-hand how the advice you provide impacts day-to-day practicalities for internationally mobile employees and their employers. You will work with international teams, use technology, data and AI-enabled tools to deliver efficient, high-quality services, and gain deeper insight into the broader strategy around global mobility. You act as the right hand of the managers you work with and support more junior colleagues in developing their consulting skills and tax technical knowledge.
Do you enjoy working in a fast-paced environment together with international teams? Are you eager to keep developing, curious about technology and AI, and do you enjoy building trusted relationships with clients, colleagues and junior team members? Then we might be looking just for you!
Who you are*
You want to gain new knowledge but also share what you already know. Besides this, you get energized from extending your network and you aim to get the best out of yourself and your colleagues. You are ready for a new challenge and enjoy figuring out and learning new things. You are curious about new technological developments and would like to extend your knowledge in this area.
Furthermore, you
- have a master’s degree in Fiscal economics or Fiscal law;
- have good knowledge of and practical experience with income tax, double taxation agreements and wage tax;
- have 2-4 years of relevant working experience;
- are accurate, have a critical and proactive mindset, good writing skills and a practical and hands-on attitude;
- enjoy working in a team but are also comfortable working independently;
- are a proactive communicator who confidently engages with stakeholders;
- are fluent in Dutch and good English skills in speaking and writing.
* These criteria are an indication of the profile we are looking for. If you don't meet all the criteria but you do believe that this is the right position for you, we kindly invite you to apply anyways or get in touch.
