We are currently seeking an exceptional professional to join us as Buyer
As the leading supply chain solutions business in the aerospace industry Customers are at the heart of our business.
The Buyer I is responsible for gaining a clear and accurate understanding of the policies and procedures for purchasing products/chemicals in support of global requirements from the Sales, SIOP, and Customer Program departments. Under the guidance of a Buyer III or Manager, the Buyer I reviews incoming purchase requisitions for routine purchases and contracts; identifies approved suppliers; obtains competitive quotes; generates purchase orders (POs); and provides all required PO follow‑up to support business plans and strategic objectives.

About Role:
Know, understand, and incorporate Incora’s values and vision in all behavior, practices, and decisions
Become familiar with the requirements of Sales and Customer Program purchasing activities
Develop and apply knowledge of procurement basics, legal requirements, and ethical conduct
Under guidance, learn to develop and prepare accurate purchase orders and process all purchase‑related paperwork, including PO revisions
Examine and analyze incoming purchase requisitions for completeness and accuracy
Contact departments or requestors to clarify details and resolve issues on requisitions
Determine the appropriate method to process requisitions based on value, timing, open contracts, or competitive bidding
Contact suppliers for competitive pricing, availability, terms, and delivery schedules
Evaluate supplier quotes and recommend award decisions
Develop, prepare, and administer purchase orders
Take responsibility for purchasing a defined set of non‑complex parts and routine purchases
Partner with Supply Chain Delivery Planners and Purchasing Support Representatives
Work directly with suppliers regarding delivery, quality, problem resolution, and material expedites
Serve as a focal point for resolving procurement discrepancies involving invoices, payments, receiving, schedules, inspections, and rejections
Evaluate supplier compliance with cost, quality, and schedule requirements and report deficiencies
Instruct and advise internal customers on company purchasing procedures and policies
Support continuous improvement efforts and professional development
Attend meetings or training as required
Travel may be required
About You:
NVQ Level 2 or equivalent (EU)
High School Diploma or GED with five years of relevant industry experience; CPSM is preferred OR
Bachelor’s degree in a related field and one year of buying experience
Equivalent combinations of education and experience will be considered
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to analyze and evaluate data to make informed procurement recommendations
Ability to reproduce established bids and learn to prepare/evaluate new bids
Willingness to learn Incora supply chain practices and government contracting principles
Ability to maintain effective relationships with suppliers, management, and coworkers
Ability to learn integrated supply chain systems and Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel)
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) is essential, alongside experience using Copilot or other AI tools to enhance productivity
