Plant Maintenance Mechanics are responsible for the following:
- Inspect, repair, and maintain aggregate processing equipment, including conveyors, screens, and crushers.
- Diagnose and trouble shoot problems with aggregate processing equipment.
- Complete routine electric work such as: replacing lights, fixtures, and outlets.
- Perform welding cutting, grinding, drilling, and metal fabrication.
- May be required to operate/move heavy equipment.
- Maintain work areas and work vehicles in a safe, organized condition.
Requirements
- High School diploma or GED
- Certification in welding, industrial maintenance, ripping, or crane operation are a plus.
- ·Experience with heavy equipment a plus.
- Experience with power operated tools, hand tools, welding equipment, and forklifts.
- ·Comfortable with repetitive fine motor control to operate tools.
- ·Drug Screen and Background Check Required.
- Willing to work in outdoor weather conditions.
