Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Credential Patrol in Roseville, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer at a retail location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, monitor access points, and deliver outstanding customer service to shoppers, tenants, and visitors. You will communicate clearly, respond to security-related concerns, and support a welcoming environment. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to shoppers, tenants, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, guest concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail center, including common areas, parking facilities, storefront perimeters, and exterior grounds, to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Observe and report suspicious activity, hazards, maintenance concerns, and policy violations to the appropriate personnel in accordance with site procedures.
• Assist with access control, directions, lost-and-found inquiries, and other customer service needs while maintaining a professional presence at the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 6 months of security-related experience.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfortably using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• A Guard Card or license is preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
