Job Description

As a Security Officer Armed Security Clearance Patrol Driver in San Antonio, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Armed Patrol Officer supporting a dynamic aerospace and defense location. Conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, monitor assigned areas, and communicate professionally with employees and visitors. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license. Bring integrity, teamwork, and a caring, reliable approach to protecting critical operations.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors at an aerospace and defense location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, access-control requirements, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of facilities, restricted areas, parking areas, and perimeter boundaries; working environments and conditions may vary by site.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials, visitor authorization, and vehicle entry requirements in accordance with site-specific procedures.
• Prepare accurate incident reports, patrol logs, and other required documentation; promptly communicate unusual activity and/or policy concerns to appropriate personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• Active DoD Top Secret Clearance is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
