3M Health Care is now Solventum
At Solventum, we enable better, smarter, safer healthcare to improve lives. As a new company with a long legacy of creating breakthrough solutions for our customers’ toughest challenges, we pioneer game-changing innovations at the intersection of health, material and data science that change patients' lives for the better while enabling healthcare professionals to perform at their best. Because people, and their wellbeing, are at the heart of every scientific advancement we pursue.
We partner closely with the brightest minds in healthcare to ensure that every solution we create melds the latest technology with compassion and empathy. Because at Solventum, we never stop solving for you.
The Impact You’ll Make in this Role
As the National Key Account Manager, Community Health & NPWT, you will be responsible for developing and growing Solventum's presence within the Australian community healthcare market, with a primary focus on expanding access to Negative Pressure Wound Therapy (NPWT) and the broader Wound and Skin care portfolio, across homecare, aged care, rehabilitation, disability, and Hospital in the Home (HITH) settings.
This role will identify market opportunities, establish strategic partnerships, influence care pathways, and develop scalable growth strategies that drive sustainable revenue and improve patient outcomes beyond the acute care environment.
The ideal candidate is an intelligent commercial all-rounder who thrives in ambiguity, enjoys solving complex customer challenges, and can build growth opportunities where none currently exist. They combine strategic thinking with practical execution and are motivated by creating and scaling new market opportunities rather than managing established business alone. This person will act as both a consultant and commercial leader, helping shape Solventum's future in Community Health while delivering sustainable revenue growth.
You will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:

- Create and execute strategic growth plans aligned with business objectives.
- Drive adoption of NPWT through innovative customer engagement and pathway development.
- Establish Solventum as a trusted partner within the non-acute healthcare sector.
2. Strategic Account Management
- Develop relationships with key decision makers across provider organisations, healthcare networks, and government-funded services.
- Create and execute account plans that deliver long-term growth.
- Lead business reviews, partnership discussions, and growth initiatives within key accounts.
3. Stakeholder Engagement & Influence
- Engage clinical, operational, procurement, and executive stakeholders to identify opportunities and overcome barriers to adoption.
- Act as a trusted advisor by understanding customer challenges and developing practical solutions.
- Collaborate with internal teams to deliver customer-focused outcomes.
4. Commercial Excellence
- Manage opportunities through the sales pipeline to deliver revenue growth.
- Leverage data, market insights, and customer feedback to inform business strategies.
- Support pricing, contracting, and commercial negotiations where appropriate.
Your Skills and Expertise
To set you up for success in this role from day one, Solventum requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Science, Health Sciences, Marketing, or related discipline
- Demonstrated success in business development, key account management, consulting, commercial leadership, or market development roles.
- Strong commercial acumen with the ability to identify opportunities, solve problems, and translate strategy into action.
- Experience influencing diverse stakeholder groups and navigating complex customer environments.
- Ability to work independently, manage ambiguity, and build new business opportunities from concept to execution.
- Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
Preferred
- Experience in healthcare, medical technology, pharmaceuticals, professional services, or other complex B2B environments.
- Exposure to community healthcare, aged care, homecare, or clinical markets is advantageous but not essential.
- Experience investigating new market segments, service models, or growth platforms.
