ZS's Insights & Analytics group partners with clients to design and deliver solutions to help them tackle a broad range of business challenges. Our teams work on multiple projects simultaneously, leveraging advanced data analytics and problem-solving techniques. What You’ll Do
- Lead and execute forecasting projects for pharmaceutical assets across lifecycle stages – including bothpipeline and inline products – using robust epidemiology-based/patient based/trend based forecast models.
- Synthesize diverse data sources (market, patient, epidemiological, and clinical trial data) to extract actionableinsights for business and portfolio decision-making.
- Conduct secondary research/desk research to gather and validate key forecasting parameters, includingdisease prevalence, incidence, and market trends.
- Develop and present comprehensive forecast models, incorporating long-range strategic scenarios andpatient/forecast flow mapping.
- Leverage pharma, epidemiology, and clinical trial databases for deep research and evidence-basedassumptions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align on key assumptions, competitive analogs, and forecastdeliverables.
- Prepare structured deliverables (e.g. forecasting insights decks) for senior leadership, regulators, and businessdevelopment stakeholders.
- Maintain up-to-date domain expertise on global pharmaceutical markets (US, JP, EU, and select emergingmarkets), regulatory and access frameworks, and therapeutic landscape developments.
What You’ll Bring
- Graduate or Postgraduate in Engineering, Pharmacy, Medicine, Science, Statistics, or Business (e.g., B.Tech,B.Pharm, MBBS, M.Sc., MBA, M.Stat.).
- Minimum 5 years of pharmaceutical/healthcare forecasting experience, including pipeline and epidemiologydrivenforecast modeling.
- Strong ability to comprehend large data sets and synthesize them into meaningful, actionable insights.
- Excellent knowledge of global pharma market dynamics, disease epidemiology, and product pipeline trends forUS, Japan, and EU regions.
- Proficiency in accessing and using pharmaceutical, epidemiology, and clinical trial databases (e.g., IQVIA).
- Demonstrated experience with secondary data research or desk research for forecasting inputs.
- Deep knowledge of forecasting methodologies, epidemiology-based forecast modeling, and long-rangeforecasting approaches.
- Clear understanding of patient flow, forecast funnel mapping, and Target Product Profile (TPP) translation intoforecast assumptions.
- Strong communication and presentation skills; ability to clearly defend forecast models and scenarioassumptions to leadership.
- High proficiency in Excel; experience with other forecasting/statistical modeling tools is a plus.
- Familiarity with Python, R, or visualization/analytics tools (Tableau, PowerBI) is an added advantage.
- Experience working in global/matrix teams and managing diverse stakeholder interfaces is nice to have.
