Life-Science Innovations has a full-time opportunity for an HR Systems Specialist to join their team. The HR System Specialist supports the daily administration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of the organization’s HRIS and timekeeping systems, ensuring data accuracy, compliance, and efficient HR processes. Key responsibilities include supporting payroll and benefits administration, processing employee changes, assisting with system testing, generating reports, and resolving routine system inquiries.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Support daily HRIS administration, including employee data management, system maintenance, troubleshooting, and accurate employee and job setup.
- Assist with benefits administration, including enrollments, qualifying life events, eligibility changes, terminations, deductions, and annual open enrollment.
- Maintain HRIS data accuracy through routine audits, record validation, reporting, and resolution of discrepancies.
- Review benefit invoices, reconcile enrollment and deduction discrepancies, and coordinate corrections with vendors and internal teams.
- Support payroll operations, including employee updates, workflow approvals, payroll corrections, and processing assistance as needed.
- Assist with HRIS system testing, updates, and process improvements impacting Payroll and Benefits.
- Support regulatory compliance reporting, including ACA, Form 5500, OSHA, and required benefits notices.
- Generate and review HRIS reports, research discrepancies, and provide information to management as requested.
- Maintain HRIS procedures, support employee communications, and ensure confidentiality and compliance with HIPAA and employee privacy requirements.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in Human Resources or an administrative role handling confidential information.
- High school diploma or GED required; equivalent combination of education, training, and experience considered.
- Experience with HRIS systems, payroll, and/or benefits administration preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Experience with UKG Pro, UKG Benefits Administration, Canva, and video editing preferred.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
- High attention to detail with a commitment to data accuracy and confidentiality.
- Ability to work independently, collaborate effectively, and provide professional employee support in a fast-paced environment.
