The Payroll Specialist is responsible with payroll processing activities, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and procedures. The ideal candidate will have a strong aptitude for numbers, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

This position reports to the Assistant Manager, HR and is part of the HR team located in Pasir Gudang, Johor and will be an on-site role.  

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

• Preparation and processing of payroll of indirect labour.
• Verify timekeeping records and resolve any discrepancies.
• Maintaining a record of indirect labour’s annual and sick leaves
• Liaise with outsource related with indirect labour’s attendance.
• Calculate wages and applicable deductions based on indirect labour attendance and timesheet records.
• Ensure accurate and timely processing of payroll transactions.
• Prepare reports for management regarding payroll expenses, hours worked, and other related data.

The essential requirements of the job include:

• Diploma/Degree in Human Resources, Education, Business, or any other relevant certificate that may be considered in lieu of a Dip/Degree.
• Years of experience in payroll processing· 
• Excellent communication and teamwork
• Computer skills in Microsoft office.
• Familiarity with payroll software or systems is often preferred.·
• Proficiency with basic computer software such as Microsoft Excel, Word, and email is often required.

Bonus / Incentive Pay 

Up to 10% of annual base salary  

This job is also eligible for bonus / incentive pay.  This is the target earnings as % of base annual salary, subject to objective eligibility criteria and performance conditions as set out in the applicable scheme terms and conditions.
