What is the opportunity?
The Product Marketing Coordinator is responsible for supporting marketing initiatives for the RBC Global Asset Management Enterprise Distribution Strategy channel that supports RBC advisors and financial planners across Canada and Advisor Channel Sales team that supports third-party advisors. This includes working closely with internal partners and external vendors to coordinate project requirements, ultimately contributing to building brand awareness and supporting sales efforts. This includes event and product support, updating content on digital properties and managing multiple projects at once. A key component will also be analyzing engagement and effectiveness, in the areas of event marketing and advisor skill building programs.
What will you do?
- Manage production, translation, compliance, internal reviews and the approval process for national and regional programs and campaigns.
- Support client and advisor-focused virtual, in-person and hybrid event marketing activities, for both national and regional skill building and business building initiatives.
- Support key campaigns, events and content on multiple platforms (i.e. Marketing Cloud, Aventri and other platforms)
- Project manage, obtain stakeholder approvals, track deliverables to keep projects running on time and create new or update existing marketing materials
- Key activities include tracking project plans and managing communication with internal partners
- Build relationships with multiple stakeholders such as sales, product, digital, design, and compliance.
- Use various tools and technologies as part of internal processes in managing projects (Wrike or familiarity with other project management platforms)
What do you need to succeed?
Must-have
- Be enrolled in a post-secondary institution in a business or marketing program, or an equivalent degree in a field of study related to the job
- Excellent written/verbal communication skills
- Ability to execute with excellence with an acute attention to detail
- Highly effective time management skills with the ability to multi-task, prioritize and plan effectively
Nice-to-have
- Curiosity/ knowledge about the financial industry
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel and PowerPoint)
- Great communication skills
- Understanding of content marketing

- Be returning back to school after the work term end-date; or
- If you are not returning back to school (i.e. are graduating immediately after the work term), you must require the full work term as a mandatory component in order to graduate successfully

Pay Range
The expected pay range for this position is:
$40,000.00 - $60,000.00The pay range provided is for the primary work location referenced in the Additional Job Details section of this job posting.
