Description
Product Marketing & Go-To-Market Leader
| DEPARTMENT | Marketing / Go-To-Market |
| LOCATION | Atlanta. GA: Hybrid Preferred but not Required |
| TRAVEL | 30–50% |
| TYPE | Full-time |
This is a highly external, market-facing seat. You take a differentiated, early-stage product and turn its capabilities into targeted executive messaging, account-specific outreach, and qualified customer conversations that move real pipeline. You are visible and active in the market — publishing on LinkedIn, championing the product at trade shows, conferences, and industry events, and building a personal and product brand that opens doors with senior supply chain buyers.
You own the full motion up to the point a genuine opportunity is created. Once an opportunity is sales-qualified, you hand the relationship to our Chief Product Officer and Chief Executive Officer to close — so your job is to generate, qualify, and set up winnable deals, not to run them to signature.
You bring the instincts of someone who has helped launch or grow a startup: comfortable operating hands-on and out front, where the product, positioning, and playbook are still taking shape. You pair sharp commercial thinking with excellent executive writing and a natural presence in the market, and you measure yourself by the quality of the pipeline and conversations you generate, not the volume of assets you produce.
If you have built a founder-led or account-based motion before, and you would rather be the one starting conversations in the market than waiting for leads to arrive, this is that role.
- Serve as the external face and lead evangelist for the product, building visibility and credibility with senior supply chain buyers.
- Be consistently active on LinkedIn and other channels — publishing points of view, engaging buyers, and building a personal and product brand that generates inbound interest and warm conversations.
- Represent the product at trade shows, conferences, and industry events — speaking, networking, running meetings, and turning event presence into qualified pipeline.
- Research priority retailers, brands, and distributors to identify likely fulfillment, inventory, capacity, and operational decision challenges.
- Develop account-specific outreach, executive messaging, call hooks, and meeting-opening hypotheses.
- Create concise sales collateral such as account briefs, use-case summaries, diagnostic assessments, and executive one-pagers.
- Define discovery questions and qualification frameworks and lead early customer conversations to qualify genuine opportunities.
- Generate qualified meetings, pilots, design partnerships, and diagnostic engagements — owning the full motion up to a sales-qualified opportunity.
- Hand off cleanly to the CPO and CEO to close, with the context, message, and momentum needed to win.
- Test messaging, buyer personas, use cases, and outreach approaches, and build a repeatable pipeline playbook.
- Translate customer and market feedback into improvements to the product’s positioning, ideal customer profile, offerings, and product priorities.
| Qualified Pipeline | Volume and quality of sales-qualified opportunities created and handed to the CPO and CEO, plus qualified meetings booked from outbound and inbound. |
| Conversion & Revenue | Converted SaaS deals influenced, and the number of live opportunities advanced into the lower funnel and toward close. |
| Target Account Coverage | Breadth and frequency of engagement across the target account list — accounts touched, multi-threaded, and moved into active conversation. |
| Market Presence | LinkedIn audience and engagement growth, event participation and meetings sourced from them, and inbound interest generated by evangelism. |
| Message-Market Fit | Strength of the messaging and feedback loop — win/loss insight captured and fed back into positioning, ICP, and product priorities. |
| Pipeline Quality | SQO-to-opportunity and opportunity-to-close rates, and the health of handoffs into the CPO/CEO closing motion. |
| Speed to Ramp | Time to full productivity on the product, existing messaging, ICP, and target list — and the quality of the updates made to each. |
- First 30 days: Get fully up to speed on the product and what it can do, plus our existing messaging, ideal customer profile, and target account list — reviewing and updating each as necessary.
- First 90 days: Validate the priority use cases and ICP, refine the commercial offer and pricing model, establish a repeatable discovery and qualification process, and advance at least two credible opportunities into a structured pilot, design-partner discussion, or commercial proposal.
- By 6 months: Have built a solid pipeline that has produced at least one converted SaaS deal, with at least six more opportunities moving through the lower funnel.
- 5+ years in product marketing, account-based marketing, pre-sales, solution consulting, or enterprise growth.
- Strong experience marketing or selling complex B2B SaaS, analytics, AI, consulting, or supply chain solutions.
- Excellent executive writing and the ability to create concise, personalized outreach.
- A strong, comfortable public presence — active social/LinkedIn selling and confidence speaking and networking at trade shows, conferences, and industry events.
- Strong account research, market analysis, and commercial hypothesis development skills.
- Working knowledge of supply chain, logistics, inventory, distribution, fulfillment, OMS, WMS, or TMS.
- Ability to operate hands-on in an early-stage environment with evolving products and messaging.
- A strong focus on pipeline quality, experimentation, and measurable conversion results.
- This role is ideally based in the Atlanta area and follows a hybrid work model. However, we welcome applications from highly qualified candidates located outside of Georgia and will consider remote candidates based on experience and business needs.
- Experience standing up an account-based or founder-led sales motion from scratch at a startup or new product line.
- Familiarity with agentic AI, decision science, or automation applied to supply chain and fulfillment operations.
- A track record selling into supply chain directors, VP-level logistics leaders, and operations executives.
- Comfort with modern GTM tooling — CRM, sales engagement, and enrichment/research platforms.
- You are energized by being out front — publishing, speaking, and starting conversations, not waiting for leads to come to you.
- You would rather run a sharp experiment and learn than polish an asset nobody asked for.
- You can hold a room with a VP of Supply Chain and leave with a next meeting on the calendar.
- You measure yourself by qualified pipeline and real conversations, not by activity.
- You operate with ownership in an early-stage environment — you build the playbook rather than wait for it.
