Description
We are looking for a Personal Assistant to provide proactive, executive support to the Agent for the Eaton and Halkyn Estates, delivering a highly professional standard of work, enhancing the effectiveness of the Agent to be able to deliver business objectives. This role will also provide support to the Estate Management Team (EMT) and play an integral role in ensuring that the team operates smoothly.
Located on the outskirts of the city of Chester and home to the Grosvenor family since the 1400s, the Eaton Estate is a leading UK rural estate. Key Responsibilities
- Provide proactive executive support to senior leaders, managing complex diaries, meetings, travel arrangements and competing priorities to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
- Prepare and produce high-quality correspondence, reports, presentations and other confidential business documents.
- Deliver comprehensive administrative support, including records management, information governance, project tracking and managing departmental processes.
- Support financial administration through purchase orders, invoice processing and expense management.
- Organise and coordinate meetings, including agenda preparation, minute-taking, action tracking and follow-up.
- Assist with people-related processes such as recruitment coordination, training administration and performance review scheduling.
- Coordinate internal communications, briefing materials and team events.
- Build strong working relationships across the organisation, providing collaborative support to senior managers and wider teams.
- Champion the use of technology and continuous improvement to enhance administrative efficiency and effectiveness.
- Provide flexible cover and support across the wider Personal Assistant network and business functions as required.
Essential Skills and Attributes
- Minimum three years’ proven experience in a similar Personal Assistant role with strong administrative skills.
- Experience supporting senior leaders and teams within a complex operational, land management, rural estate or professional services environment.
- Excellent organisation, prioritisation and communication skills.
- Strong Microsoft 365 skills, including Word, Outlook, PowerPoint and Excel, with experience using Copilot.
- Proactive, adaptable and self-motivated, with strong attention to detail.
- Able to build effective relationships and handle confidential information with discretion.
We operate a hybrid work model, combining remote work with in-person collaboration. This role requires a minimum of 3 days per week in our Chester office, with the remaining 2 days worked from home.
