Job Title: Assistant Manager /Deputy manager– Machine Testing & Finalization
Location: Jaipur

Objective of the Role
The primary objective of this role is to manage machine testing, inspection, troubleshooting, and rework activities to ensure machines are tested as per quality standards, production plans, and dispatch schedules while achieving safety, productivity, and testing targets through effective manpower management and continuous process improvement.
Machine Testing & Inspection
- Plan, execute, and monitor machine testing and inspection activities as per production plan and takt time.
- Ensure compliance with testing procedures, quality standards, and customer requirements.
: Troubleshooting & Rework Management
- Identify and resolve hydraulic, electrical, mechanical, and software-related issues during testing.
- Coordinate with Production, Quality, Engineering, and Supply Chain teams for timely closure of defects and rework.
Process Improvement & Quality
- Develop, implement, and sustain SOPs, testing checklists, and inspection standards.
- Analyze testing failures, field/customer issues, and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) to improve first-pass yield and reduce rework.
Team & Performance Management
- Manage testing manpower to achieve productivity, testing targets, and machine readiness.
- Conduct daily performance reviews, monitor KPIs, and ensure adherence to safety and quality requirements.
Safety & Compliance
- Ensure safe work practices during machine testing and final inspection.
- Maintain testing records, reports, and compliance with company safety and quality management systems.

Knowledge
- Mining & tunnelling equipment testing procedures and parameters.
- Machine assembly and component identification.
- Hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems.
- PLC, HT/LT systems, breakers, sensors, and control systems.
- Production planning, quality systems, and lean manufacturing concepts.

- Machine testing and troubleshooting.
- Root Cause Analysis (RCA) & CAPA.
- MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, and ERP systems.
- Data analysis and report preparation.

Relevant Work Experience
- 6~10 years of experience in machine testing, inspection, troubleshooting, and rework in heavy equipment, mining equipment, construction equipment, or industrial machinery manufacturing.
Special Working Conditions
- Regular shop-floor presence with exposure to heavy equipment testing.
- May require extended working hours during production peaks and dispatch schedules.

Education Qualification
Mandatory: Diploma / B.Tech in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
