Radiologic Technologist Lead

Hourly Pay Range:

$33.35 - $51.69 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.

Position Highlights:

•     Position: Radiologic Technologist Lead 

•     Location:  Skokie, IL

•     Full Time/Part Time: Full time, 40 hours

•     Hours: M-F 7am-3:30pm

•     Required Travel: Yes, local

 

What you will do:

·         Perform radiographic exams/obtain and record history, explain procedures, position patients and ensure their comfort.

·         Oversees the ortho suite and assists with ACC-B ortho workflow and efficiency.

• Ensure that patient experience is a priority and that the department is maintaining a level of professionalism.

• Handle patient recovery.

• Stay on top of exam delays.

• Keeps track of trends in productivity.

• Be the contact person for the practice manager while maintaining a productive relationship with all employees in medical group.

• Strong problem solving skills.

• Knowledge of API/Radiant/Intelerad.

• Will perform tech evaluations.

• Make sure that all techs are up to date on licenses, CPR, DevelopU classes, and Flu shots.

• Onboard new employees.

 

 

What you will need:

•     License: IEMA licensing required

•     Education: Certificate or Associate’s degree from an accredited radiology program

•     Certification: CPR certification required. ARRT registered.

•     Experience: 2-3 years of previous tech experience. Leadership/supervisory experience preferred.

•     Skills: Excellent interpersonal, communication and customer service skills required
