Project Engineer – Multifamily Construction
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Project Engineer to join our dynamic team specializing in multifamily construction projects. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the successful delivery of residential developments, working closely with project managers, contractors, and clients to ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the planning, coordination, and execution of multifamily construction projects from inception to completion
- Prepare and review project schedules, budgets, and procurement plans
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, contractors, and vendors to ensure project specifications are met
- Monitor project progress, identify potential issues, and implement solutions to keep projects on track
- Conduct site visits to oversee construction activities, ensure safety compliance, and verify quality standards
- Maintain accurate documentation, including daily reports, change orders, and project correspondence
- Support project managers in contract administration, procurement, and project closeout activities
Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field
- Proven experience in multifamily or residential construction projects
- Strong understanding of construction processes, codes, and safety regulations
- Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications
- Proficiency in project management software and MS Office Suite
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and handle multiple priorities
