What will you be doing?
We are looking for an experienced Lead – FP&A to strengthen and scale the FP&A function at Glance. The role will own Opex management and governance, including planning, budgeting, forecasting, month-end actualization, provisions, financial reporting, and management insights. The role will partner closely with business functions to drive financial discipline, improve visibility into spend and enable data-driven decision-making.
The role will also lead MIS, dashboarding, reporting automation and AI-led finance transformation, while working closely with Accounting/Finance to ensure accuracy, timely closure, appropriate cost allocation and integrity of financial information.
Key Responsibilities
- Opex & Marketing Ownership – Own end-to-end financial management of Opex and Marketing across functions including HR, Admin, Legal, Finance, IT/Software, Facilities, Procurement and other corporate functions.
- Planning & Forecasting – Lead AOP, annual budgeting, quarterly/rolling forecasts and long-range planning for Opex and Marketing in partnership with functional stakeholders.
- Month-End Close & Provisions – Drive monthly Opex actualization, accruals/provisions, true-ups and closure, ensuring expenses are accurately recorded, mapped and closed within timelines.
- Performance & Variance Management – Deliver Budget vs. Actual and Forecast vs. Actual analysis, identify key drivers, risks and opportunities, and provide actionable insights to functional and senior leadership.
- Cost Governance & Optimization – Track Opex run-rate, commitments, vendor spend and future obligations; drive cost discipline, savings opportunities and adherence to approved budgets.
- Marketing Finance – Partner with Marketing on campaign/vendor spend, budget utilization, accruals, actualization and spend effectiveness/ROI analysis.
- MIS & Management Reporting – Own Opex and Marketing MIS, dashboards and monthly management reporting covering budgets, actuals, provisions, commitments, forecasts, variances and business commentary.
- Automation & Finance Transformation – Build and enhance automated reporting, dashboards and data workflows using Power BI, Advanced Excel, Power Query, Macro and AI/data-enabled solutions to improve efficiency, accuracy and reporting timeliness.
- Business Partnership, Process improvements & Financial Controls – Act as a finance business partner to support functions, challenging assumptions and ensuring robust controls around POs, contracts, invoices, allocations, cost centers, entities and vendor commitments.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- MBA (Finance) with 5–8 years of relevant FP&A / Cost Governance experience.
- Strong expertise in Opex planning, budgeting, forecasting, provisions, month-end closure and variance analysis.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate financial data into actionable business insights.
- Advanced Excel/Google Sheets skills; experience with Power BI, Power Query, Macro and/or similar BI tools preferred.
- Strong interest in automation, AI-led finance transformation and dashboarding.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to work with and challenge senior functional leaders constructively.
- Strong ownership, attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities across month-end, forecasting and planning cycles.
- Experience in cost optimization, financial governance and process automation will be an advantage.
