The Head of North American Buy-Side Sales will lead a team of sales executives who are responsible for selling front/middle back-office software and operations solutions. You will lead a sales team that is responsible for driving new recurring revenue/ new logos by creating sales opportunities with alternative asset managers including Hedge Funds, Private Credit firms, and CLO managers. You will provide coaching, training, and leadership to help the sales team identify potential clients and deliver tailored, specific pitches with a consultative sales approach.
The Head of NA Buy-Side Sales will engage sales staff to understand prospective clients' current front, middle and back-office technology and operational needs in order to determine how to best position Broadridge to win. The Head of NA Buy-Side Sales will work to cross-functionally with the heads of our investment management business to help guide product enhancements and product roadmap.
Responsibilities:
- Manage a sales team who are introducing Broadridge’s suite of investment management solutions to alts firms
- Manages a centralized database of assigned target accounts, including: pipeline opportunities, contact management, leading and tracking campaigns for new logos.
- Implements processes and tools to maintain accountability to ensure sales associates are building and converting pipeline
- Prepares and maintains white space analysis for the market segment.
- Lead and integrate marketing activities into sales team, including brand and product trainings, lead generation, and marketing campaigns.
- You will participate in client meetings and conversations to refine the Broadridge story and train the sales team.
- Build a premier global buy side sales force, including recruitment, training, and reporting.
- Help craft and recognize quotas for team and individual contributors.
- High level interaction with Senior-level Management at the prospective client site and within Broadridge.
- Will maintain constant awareness of current and planned development of Broadridge products. Attend trade shows, conferences, and other industry-related events to strengthen existing client relationships, develop new relationships, remain current on industry issues, increase awareness of competitive offerings, and promote Broadridge solutions.
- You will manage internal resources to provide the necessary expertise and support during the sales process.
Required Experience:
- Deep understanding of the inner workings of front/middle office operations of Hedge Funds and Private Credit managers
- Connectivity to Hedge Fund and Private Credit ecosystem including Prime Brokers, Admins and Advisory firms.
- Rolodex of C suite executives at Hedge Funds and Private Credit Firms
- Minimum 10 years of buy side sales management experience selling technology based solutions to the buy side.
- Software-as-a-Service and/or Enterprise Platform Sales Experience
- Closing and contract negotiation skills
- Detailed knowledge of products including OMS, Portfolio Management, Risk, Compliance Data Warehouse, Pricing, Reference Data, Accounting, Reconciliation and Reporting, Managed Services
- Ability to take a consultative sales approach to problem solving with prospects and clients
- Ability to travel (50%).
- Demonstrated success managing product and segment sales people to quota.
- Excellent presentation and interpersonal skills. The ability to work in a dynamic, high pressure environment.

Compensation Range: The salary range for this position is between $185,000.00- $200,000.00 USD.
Broadridge considers various factors when evaluating a candidate's final salary including, but not limited to, relevant experience, skills, and education.
