Description
You'll need to oversee shift powder production to ensure compliance with specifications, GMP standards, and on-time delivery while maintaining team discipline, safety, and 5S practices. Reporting to the Production Manager, you'll need to monitor KPIs, coordinate with teams, and improve performance to meet production and customer commitments. You'll also support continuous improvement through data analysis, corrective actions, and process enhancements.
Responsibilities
You'll manage all shift powder production activities to ensure the products are produced according to specifications, work instructions, good manufacturing practices and delivered accordingly.
Maintain discipline and well behavior of team.
Ensure the rules of tidiness are fully and constantly respected and implemented according to 5S standards.
Drive shift production team to meet production schedule and customer delivery commitments.
Coordinate with the related departments (QC,Procurement/Technical/Supply Chain/Maintenance) to implement the scheduled preventive maintenance and repair activities.
Monitor KPIs performance on shift as OEE/Cycle time/AMU (Absolute Material Utilization) and make shiftly report
Follow safety regulation and risk reduction in all time working
Support Production manager to improve manufacturing process
Participate in CAIR / Quality Failure corrective actions
Analyze the measurement data and provide improvements through the usage of statistical analysis.
Perform additional tasks as assigned by the Production Manager.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in chemical engineering or mechanical engineering
Minimum 3 years' working experience in manufacturing environment and powder coating experience is advantageous
Communicate in local and basic English language
Production hand on and people management skills
On the job training skills
Innovative and continuous improvement mindset
Proficiency in statistical analysis and data interpretation
Lean Six Sigma basic will be an advantage.
