Registered Nurse (RN) – Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory (Per Diem)
Baystate Health, a nationally recognized leader in healthcare quality and safety, is seeking a Per Diem Registered Nurse to join our Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory team at Baystate Medical Center, a Magnet® recognized hospital for Nursing Excellence.
Our state-of-the-art Cath Lab includes four cardiac catheterization labs and one neuro lab, supporting approximately 4,000 cardiac and neurovascular procedures annually. Our nurses work collaboratively in scrub, monitor, and circulator roles with comprehensive orientation, experienced team support, and opportunities for professional growth.
DEPARTMENT DESCRIPTION:
State-of-the-art Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory at Baystate Medical Center.
Four Cath Labs and one Neuro Lab supporting approximately 4,000 cardiac and neurovascular procedures annually.
Provides care for cardiac catheterization, structural heart, STEMI, and neurovascular procedures.
Nurses are cross-trained in scrub, monitor, and circulator roles.
Collaborative team environment with comprehensive orientation and professional growth opportunities.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Current Massachusetts RN license
Current American Heart Association BLS certification
Minimum one year of RN experience required
ADN required; BSN preferred
Critical care or Cath Lab experience preferred
SCHEDULE:
Per Diem (2–3 shifts per week)
Monday–Friday
Hours are Monday-Friday, no holidays
The department does provide call coverage for emergencies 7:30p-7am and on weekends and holidays
