Construction Project Manager – Electrical / HV Background | Renewable Energy ⚡
Location: Bucharest, Romania (On-site)

About the Role
We are currently supporting a leading company in the renewable energy sector in their search for a Construction Project Manager with a strong electrical or high-voltage (HV) background. The successful candidate will oversee the construction and delivery of large-scale photovoltaic (PV) projects, from early development to grid connection.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced professional who wants to contribute to the growth of clean energy infrastructure and manage complex, high-impact projects within a dynamic international environment.
Main Responsibilities

Plan, coordinate, and manage the full lifecycle of PV construction projects, ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards

Supervise on-site activities and monitor progress, safety, and compliance with technical specifications

Collaborate with engineering and procurement teams to manage suppliers and subcontractors

Liaise with local DSOs and regulatory authorities to ensure timely grid connections

Track project costs, identify risks, and prepare progress and financial reports

Ensure compliance with all relevant technical, environmental, and safety regulations
Candidate Profile
-
At least 5 years of experience in project management within the energy, utilities, or renewables sector
-
Degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction, or Renewable Energy (or equivalent field)

Proven track record in EPC project delivery and managing multidisciplinary teams
-
Strong understanding of HV systems, grid connection processes, and PV regulations
-
Excellent organizational, leadership, and communication skills

Fluent in English; other European languages are a plus

Flexibility to travel to project sites when required
