Role/Department:
Limerick's Custody Client Service team supports over 650 clients and plays a critical role in delivering exceptional service across all custody-related activities. The team works closely with internal partners to source information and provide prompt, high-quality responses to client queries.
We are seeking an experienced and client-focused professional to join our Custody Client Services team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and developing key client relationships, overseeing service delivery, supporting operational controls, and providing leadership and guidance to junior partners. Client Relationship Management
- Act as the senior point of contact for assigned clients, building trusted relationships and gaining a strong understanding of their business needs.
- Deliver a consistently high level of service across all custody-related client queries.
- Lead proactive client communications, ensuring issues are resolved accurately and within agreed service levels.
- Research, analyse, and resolve complex client enquiries and service-related matters.
- Coordinate and facilitate client service reviews, due diligence activities, management information reporting, and support complex client onboarding initiatives.
Stakeholder Management
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with internal partners and key stakeholders across the organisation.
- Collaborate effectively with operational and support teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
Operational Oversight & Risk Management
- Provide oversight of daily team activities to ensure alignment with service operating models, service level agreements (SLAs), and internal policies.
- Monitor, maintain, and enhance operational controls to mitigate risk and support compliance with governance requirements.
- Review and oversee control checks, reconciliations, workflow management, dashboards, trend analysis, and service reporting.
- Act as a senior escalation point for complex issues, ensuring timely resolution and appropriate stakeholder management.
Leadership & Development
- Coach, mentor, and support junior partners in resolving client service and operational issues.
- Facilitate knowledge sharing and ongoing development across the team.
- Promote an inclusive and collaborative working environment.
Continuous Improvement & Change
- Identify opportunities to improve service delivery, productivity, efficiency, and operational effectiveness.
- Support and lead initiatives related to process enhancement, automation, technology improvements, and change management.
- Take ownership of projects arising from market, regulatory, or business changes.
Skills/Qualifications:
- Proven experience within Fund Services, preferably within Custody.
- Strong understanding of the securities industry, including products and financial instruments.
- Proven experience managing client relationships and resolving complex client issues.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and drive positive outcomes.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Ability to communicate effectively with clients and partners at all levels.
- Demonstrated leadership and mentoring experience.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Experience leading operational improvement initiatives.
- Proven track record of enhancing service delivery, efficiency, and productivity.
- Experience supporting regulatory or market-driven change initiatives.
- Knowledge of custody operations and related industry practices.
