Job Description

As a Security Officer Customer Service Patrol in Miami, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a residential location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support access control. You will deliver exceptional customer service and clear communication while contributing to a welcoming environment. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to residents, guests, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of residential common areas, parking areas, entrances, amenity spaces, and the surrounding perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and observe visitor, resident, and vendor activity in accordance with property policies and procedures.
• Respond to incidents, resident concerns, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and/or emergency responders as needed.
• Prepare accurate activity logs, incident reports, and other required documentation while communicating relevant information to site management and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
