Job Description
Do you enjoy connecting business needs with the right system solutions, and do you know the Source to Pay process well? As our Business Systems Product Owner – Ivalua, you'll own how our Source to Pay platform develops, so that it supports Operations today and as we grow. Based in Lund, Sweden, you'll be the link between business, IT and our future digital landscape.
Who is your future team?
You'll join the Cross Functional Projects & Systems team, part of Operations Development. We lead cross-functional initiatives, oversee the Operations project portfolio, and own business systems and how they are designed.
Operations is the part of Axis responsible for supplying and distributing our products. It includes areas such as Material Supply, Sourcing, Order Handling, Manufacturing, Logistics and Quality & Environment. As Axis grows, we're building a more structured product ownership model. The aim is to spend our resources on the most impactful work at the right time, and to verify every solution from an end-to-end perspective before we build it.
What you'll do as Business Systems Product Owner – Ivalua
This is a business systems ownership role, not system administration or ticket handling. You'll lead the product ownership of Ivalua and also take on solution architect tasks. You'll set the direction, coordinate the work and confirm that solutions deliver real business value, together with IT, superusers and other stakeholders. When needed, you'll also get hands-on with testing and user support.
- Own the roadmap and backlog: Plan Ivalua's development based on business and IT needs, and prioritize by business value. Balance long-term improvements with day-to-day operational needs.
- Lead intake and evaluation of change requests: Turn business needs into clear requirements and solution proposals, with process flows where helpful, always with the end-to-end supply chain in mind.
- Share ownership with IT: Work closely with the IT Product Owner on priorities and decisions, as well as on access management, profiles, licences and support models.
- Drive delivery: Lead maintenance and implementation projects, and make sure changes are tested, documented and trained with minimal disruption. Then follow up on adoption and business value.
- Lead the Ivalua User Forum: Bring together stakeholders from user functions, work closely with Business Administrators, and set the agenda and cadence for how we work together.
- Keep the big picture: Maintain a clear overview of Ivalua's data and integrations, so you can align with other Business Systems Product Owners and contribute to transformation initiatives.
- Be the face of Ivalua: Together with the IT Product Owner, promote current capabilities and connect with new stakeholders to find needs that future capabilities could meet.
Who are we looking for?
You're analytical, structured and curious, and you enjoy an environment where change is constant. You move easily between system detail and the bigger strategic picture, and you help others see the whole. You build trust and lead without formal authority across organizational and cultural boundaries. You understand change management and enjoy working closely with the business. You think end-to-end, bring clarity when things are unclear, and take responsibility for results.
We believe you have:
- Hands-on experience with the Source to Pay process, for example from Purchasing, Sourcing or a similar area
- Desire to work alongside business subject matter experts, with a drive to thoroughly understanding the current state and opportunities for improvement
- Experience with Ivalua or a similar Source to Pay system
- Experience with SRM tools, such as modules for Supplier Information, Supplier Onboarding, Audits, Compliance, RFQ, Pricebook, Risk, Performance and Agreements
- Experience as a Product Owner or working within a product ownership structure, including roadmap and backlog work. Desire and drive to setup a product ownership structure with business and IT stakeholders.
- Experience with requirements definition and solution design, such as process diagrams and requirements documentation
- Ability to understand, balance and align diverse business needs, translating them into fit-for-purpose, scalable solution designs that support end-to-end processes and remain effective as the business evolves
- Strong communication skills in Swedish and English
- Understanding of system integrations and data flows
- Experience from system implementations or major enhancement programs is an advantage
