Enhance and maximise BioMar Vietnam's competitive advantage in the aquaculture feed industry

Your responsibilities will optimizing total cost of ownership, mitigating supply chain risks, ensuring compliance with BioMar's quality, sustainability and ethical sourcing requirements, and creating competitive advantage through strategic supplier partnerships and market intelligence.

Working primarily in Ho Chi Minh city, your main tasks will be to:

• Strategic Sourcing & Market Intelligence: Develop and implement short-term and long-term sourcing strategies; monitor commodity markets, price trends, supply-demand dynamics and geopolitical risks affecting feed ingredients.

• Global Sourcing Alignment: Ensure alignment with BioMar Global Sourcing strategies, supplier approval requirements and sourcing governance.

• Supplier Development & Relationship Management:

  Develop, evaluate and strengthen strategic supplier partnerships locally and globally.

• Commercial Negotiation & Contract Management: Lead commercial negotiations and manage contracts to achieve the best commercial outcomes.

• Alternative Raw Material Sourcing: Collaborate with Nutrition, Technical, R&D and Quality teams to identify and evaluate alternative ingredients.

• Procurement Operations Management: Oversee purchasing operations, purchase orders, supplier delivery performance and procurement processes.

• Cost Optimization & Working Capital Management: Develop purchasing strategies that optimize inventory, cash flow and total cost of ownership.

• Quality & Supplier Compliance: Ensure purchased materials comply with quality, food safety, traceability and supplier standards.

• Sustainability & Responsible Sourcing: Promote sustainable sourcing practices in line with BioMar sustainability commitments and certifications.

• Supplier Audit & Performance Management: Participate in supplier audits and performance reviews; drive supplier development initiatives.

• Inventory & Supply Chain Optimization: Work closely with Supply Chain, Planning and Production teams to balance inventory and supply continuity.

• Import Logistics & Customs Coordination: Support inbound logistics, customs clearance and shipping coordination.

• Data Analytics & Reporting: Analyze purchasing data, supplier performance and market trends; provide management reporting.

• Ethics, Compliance & Internal Control: Ensure compliance with BioMar Code of Conduct, anti-bribery requirements and procurement governance.

• Leadership & People Development: Build a high-performing procurement organization through coaching, development and succession planning.

We anticipate that you are a Vietnamese local having 10 years experiences in of procurement/sourcing, with 05 years in in aquafeed, animal feed or agribusiness industry

Beside, this job requires that you have:

• Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Agriculture, Aquaculture or related field

• Ability to develop sourcing strategies aligned with business objectives.Ability to develop sourcing strategies aligned with business objectives.
