For our client, a leading company in the energy industry and part of a prominent international group, we are looking for an experienced IT Systems & Software Development Specialist to support critical IT operations, infrastructure, and digital transformation initiatives.
What You'll Do
- Manage and maintain IT infrastructure, including hardware, software, networks, and business applications.
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure maximum uptime.
- Support the planning and implementation of IT infrastructure improvements and digital transformation initiatives.
- Develop and improve business applications, integrations, and process automation solutions.
- Lead and coordinate IT projects, including system upgrades and new technology implementations.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify business needs and recommend effective IT solutions.
- Ensure compliance with IT security standards, cybersecurity best practices, and company policies.
- Manage backups, disaster recovery, business continuity processes, and IT asset inventory.
- Maintain accurate technical documentation and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant IT experience.
- Strong knowledge of systems administration, networking, and IT infrastructure.
- Experience with IT security, infrastructure protection, and risk management.
- Experience with relational databases and SQL.
- Knowledge of virtualization technologies.
- Solid understanding of IT asset management and software licensing.
- Advanced MS Office skills.
- Excellent English communication skills, both written and spoken.
Nice to Have
- ITIL, CompTIA, Cisco (CCNA), or Microsoft certifications.
- Experience with PowerShell, Python, or other automation/scripting tools.
- Experience working with hybrid or cloud environments.
