Retail Banking Services (RBS) is the public face of CommBank, delivering a seamless banking experience for the future, to our 10 million + personal and small business customers. We offer market-leading products and services, supported by some of the world’s best systems and processes.
The Consumer Spending Crew has end-to-end responsibility for the Commonwealth Bank Credit Cards and Low-Cost Credit Cards business. We consist of squads that look after the development of the credit card products, acquisition, the growth of our portfolio, our loyalty program and end-to-end process improvement.
Within the In-Life Stream, specifically the MyView squad, the purpose of the squad is to support in‑life customer spending journeys in the Consumer Spending Crew of the Consumer Finance domain, enabling customers to confidently use, manage, and rely on their card products throughout their lifecycle.

As a Product Manager in our squad, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our credit card In-Life journey, enhancing customer experiences to maximise the benefit of utilising their credit card through multiple channels, create new uplifting experiences, inject new products and drive business growth. In this exciting and ever evolving role, your strong stakeholder and engagement skills will see you develop and manage key business partner relationships critical to the team’s success.
Key responsibilities will include:
Translating complex banking business requirements into scalable technical mapping requirements.
Creating and managing high-quality artefacts including business requirements, functional specifications, process maps, user stories, acceptance criteria, and solution documentation.
Analysing customer journeys and operational processes to identify automation, simplification, and digital transformation opportunities.
Supporting product strategy development through market analysis, customer insights, business case preparation, and value realisation tracking.
Building strong relationships with senior stakeholders across Retail Banking Services, Business Banking, Technology, and Risk.
We want to hear from you if you have:
Experience or background in Credit cards and payments domains
Experience working with vendor platforms, third-party integrations, and enterprise procurement or governance processes.
Strong understanding of banking systems including core banking, payments processing, APIs, integration platforms, CRM, identity, and digital channels.
Experience with digital banking platforms including mobile banking, internet banking, authentication, and self-service capabilities.
The ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders and translate business priorities for engineering teams.
Skills in root cause analysis, incident remediation support, and continuous improvement within highly regulated environments.
Proven advocacy for customer-centric product delivery.
Strong capability in data analysis, SQL, reporting, and interpreting banking metrics.
Strong process mapping, data flow and sequence mapping skillset.
Understanding of API landscape and API mapping.
