Description
Location: Aimtron Corporation: 555 S Vermont St, Palatine, IL 60067 & Aimtron System: 500 S Hicks Rd h, Palatine, IL 60067.
Facility: Aimtron Corporation & Aimtron System.
Shift Timings: 1st Shift (07.00 AM – 03.30 PM).
- Perform mechanical and electro-mechanical assembly of electronic products, subassemblies, and box builds.
- Assemble components, hardware, cables, wires, and harnesses using hand and small power tools.
- Read and follow engineering drawings, schematics, BOMs, work instructions, and SOPs.
- Prepare assemblies for conformal coating, including cleaning, masking, fixturing, and material preparation.
- Operate coating equipment and apply materials according to established specifications.
- Inspect coated assemblies for coverage, thickness, defects, masking, and workmanship.
- Use calipers, gauges, magnification equipment, digital multimeters, and other basic inspection tools.
- Troubleshoot assembly and coating issues within established procedures.
- Maintain accurate production, inspection, and quality records.
- Follow all quality, ESD, chemical handling, PPE, and safety requirements.
- Perform other manufacturing duties as assigned.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- 1 to 3 years of mechanical, electro-mechanical, electronics assembly, conformal coating, or related manufacturing experience preferred.
- Conformal coating experience preferred.
- Ability to read engineering drawings, schematics, BOMs, and work instructions.
- Mechanical aptitude and experience with hand and small power tools.
- Strong attention to detail and good hand-eye coordination.
- Ability to perform repetitive precision assembly and inspection work.
- Basic computer skills and production documentation experience.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong problem-solving skills and commitment to quality.
- Willingness to learn new manufacturing processes.
- Ability to stand, sit, bend, reach, and perform hands-on assembly for extended periods.
- Ability to lift and move materials and assemblies as required.
- Ability to work with chemicals, cleaning agents, coatings, and required PPE.
- Ability to use magnification equipment when required.
- Must follow all ESD, safety, quality, and environmental requirements.
