As a Security Officer Armed Driver Risk Assessment in Boston, MA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As an Armed Security Officer at a financial institution location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication. This driving position requires a valid driver's license and concealed carry weapons permit. - Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees at a financial institution by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control requirements, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
- Conduct regular and random armed patrols of the facility, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
- Monitor access points and verify authorization for personnel, visitors, contractors, and deliveries in accordance with established procedures.
- Respond to alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; document observations and notify appropriate personnel and/or emergency responders.
- Maintain proficiency with assigned equipment and follow all applicable laws, licensing requirements, post orders, and Allied Universal policies for armed assignments.
Minimum Requirements:
- Possess a Concealed Carry Weapons Permit.
- Have 1+ years of law enforcement experience OR 2+ years of security supervisor/manager experience OR 3+ years of security experience.
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
