Improve asset performance and operational excellence as Reliability Engineer

You will work closely with maintenance teams, customers, and technical specialists to identify failure causes, develop preventive solutions, and drive long-term improvements in industrial asset performance.

Your responsibilities

• You will apply reliability engineering methodologies, tools, and best practices to predict, prevent, and reduce the probability of failures in industrial assets.
• You will develop and support strategic plans for implementing Reliability Engineering processes, integrating them into the overall maintenance structure.
• You will investigate equipment failures, conduct root cause analyses, and implement effective corrective actions to avoid recurring issues.
• You will utilize risk and reliability assessment methods to evaluate asset performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
• You will develop, update, monitor, and critically analyze maintenance performance indicators, ensuring corrective actions are implemented whenever deviations are identified.
• You will collaborate with maintenance leaders and stakeholders to evaluate investment opportunities and asset renewal programs based on return-on-investment (ROI) analyses.
• You will coach and support maintenance teams in implementing and improving reliability engineering methodologies and maintenance tools.
• You will analyze technical alternatives and recommend practical solutions to meet operational and maintenance requirements.
• You will work closely with customers, technology centers, and multidisciplinary teams to resolve technical challenges impacting asset performance.
• You will support maintenance planning activities, equipment improvements, spare parts management, repair strategies, and service contracts, always focused on maximizing operational availability.

Expectations for you

• You have a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
• You have at least one year of experience working in continuous process industries, with exposure to reactors, rotating equipment, or industrial assets.
• You have practical knowledge of quality and problem-solving tools such as Cause-and-Effect Analysis, 5W2H, Histograms, and related methodologies.
• You understand maintenance management strategies and reliability-centered maintenance principles.
• You have knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies such as RCM (Reliability-Centered Maintenance), FMEA (Failure Mode and Effects Analysis), and other maintenance engineering techniques.
• You are proficient in English.
• You are willing to live in or relocate to Nacimiento or nearby areas.
• You demonstrate leadership, analytical thinking, initiative, proactivity, problem-solving skills, teamwork, and strong written and verbal communication abilities.
