AI Technology Product Manager

About the Role:

The AI Technology Product Manager II supports the development and execution of artificial intelligence products and capabilities for Global Investment Banking (GIB). In this senior individual contributor role, you will own defined portions of the AI product roadmap, independently manage day-to-day platform operations, and recommend enhancements based on business needs, user feedback, risk considerations, and product performance. You will partner with GIB leaders, bankers, technology, data, risk, compliance, legal, and external vendors to translate ambiguous opportunities into prioritized requirements, practical solutions, and adoption plans.

This full-time, exempt role is based in Milwaukee, with Tuesday through Thursday in office, Monday and Friday remote, and less than 10% travel, subject to business needs.

The Impact You'll Make:

• Own defined portions of the GIB AI product roadmap and backlog, translating established priorities into sequenced features, use cases, and adoption activities
• Recommend enhancements to GIB's AI strategy and product direction using business needs, user feedback, platform capabilities, value evidence, and emerging practices
• Independently manage day-to-day administration of the core AI platform, including feature evaluation, configuration, access processes, issue coordination, and release readiness
• Evaluate new features, connectors, integrations, and AI use cases; document findings and make recommendations through established technology, risk, compliance, and legal review processes
• Manage day-to-day vendor relationships, monitor service, usage, and costs, and provide analysis and recommendations for renewals, commercial decisions, and product improvements
• Lead assigned workstreams for the GIB Tech & AI Solutions Committee, prepare recommendations, present progress, and coordinate follow-through on decisions and action items
• Make operational product and platform decisions within defined parameters and escalate decisions with broader strategic, commercial, regulatory, or risk implications
• Partner with bankers, product managers, technology delivery teams, architects, data teams, and control partners to define requirements, acceptance criteria, user acceptance testing plans, and release sequencing
• Design and conduct structured product evaluations and user acceptance testing against a human-built answer key, summarize results, and recommend release or remediation actions
• Lead group training, communications, office hours, and other adoption activities that help teams apply AI capabilities appropriately and effectively
• Monitor adoption, user experience, platform performance, and value indicators; identify issues or opportunities and recommend actions to improve outcomes
• Serve as a knowledgeable resource on practical AI use cases, prompt and agent workflows, platform capabilities, limitations, and responsible-use expectations while maintaining hands-on fluency in building, testing, and debugging prompts and agent workflows
• Curate the GIB skill and workflow library from commissioning and testing through publishing and retirement, and maintain the communities of practice and rotational banker seat that inform requirements and roadmap decisions
• Maintain the adoption scoreboard and value-realization reporting for the Committee and firm leadership

What You'll Bring to Baird:

• Bachelor's degree in business, computer science, data science, information systems, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience
• Five or more years of professional experience, including three or more years in product management, platform administration, technology enablement, business analysis, innovation, or a related discipline
• Experience supporting AI, analytics, enterprise technology, or data-enabled products
• Experience coordinating cross-functional delivery, vendor relationships, and technology adoption
• Strong understanding of AI use cases and practical application; product lifecycle, roadmap, backlog, user acceptance testing, release, and adoption practices; enterprise platform operations; vendor service and usage management; and responsible AI, risk, and control considerations
• Working knowledge of generative AI, agent workflows, prompt design, model evaluation concepts, and investment banking or financial-services workflows
• Hands-on fluency in building, testing, and debugging prompts and agent workflows, along with structured evaluation design and quantitative adoption measurement
• Skills in product discovery and prioritization, requirements definition, structured evaluation and user acceptance testing, business analysis, vendor and stakeholder management, facilitation and presentation, group training and change enablement, written communication, and interpretation of adoption, usage, cost, and value data
• Ability to solve ambiguous problems and recommend practical solutions; operate independently on most assignments; make sound operational decisions within defined parameters; influence managers and senior professionals without formal authority; lead cross-functional workstreams; translate technical concepts into business outcomes; manage competing priorities; and escalate strategic, commercial, regulatory, or risk decisions appropriately
• Preferred experience includes administering Rogo or a comparable enterprise AI or agentic platform; familiarity with investment banking workflows; supporting AI governance, output-review controls, or an enterprise prompt or skill library; and exposure to Power BI, Snowflake, or comparable enterprise reporting environments as data sources for AI workflows

Compensation and Benefits:

• $91,000-140,000 annual salary range
• Bonus potential up to 25% of base pay
