As a Security Officer Access Control Reception in Hardeeville, SC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Access Control Security Professional at a logistics and distribution location, you will help manage site entry, verify credentials, monitor access points, and maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents. You will support a professional experience for visitors, drivers, and employees through clear communication and customer service. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and/or employees by carrying out access-control procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and visitor authorization, maintain visitor and driver logs, and direct authorized personnel to designated areas.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and notifying appropriate site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, loading areas, parking areas, and the business perimeter to help identify unauthorized activity, unsecured doors, and other security-related concerns.
• Support the orderly flow of vehicle and pedestrian traffic by following established site procedures and communicating professionally with drivers, contractors, and employees.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• At this site there are limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets and rustic guard shacks.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
