Material Program Manager (MPM) needed for the Raytheon Tomahawk program in Tucson, Arizona. This role requires basic knowledge of the material requirements planning (MRP) process with practical knowledge of project and material management.

What You Will Do: 

• Support supplier engagements and PO execution
• Oversee all SCM activities needed to meet program requirements, facilitate the communication between various Supply Chain functions, including Sourcing, Logistics, and Production Control
• Work closely with Engineering, Quality, and Operations to create a common schedule based on Material Requirements Planning (MRP)
• Monitor performance metrics and address program and functional issues
• Drive Purchase Requisition generation & Purchase Order placement/management
• Participate in supplier engagements and reviews to ensure supplier performance
• Assist with the generation of Supplier Statements of Work (SSOWs)
• Ability to travel up to 10%

 

Qualifications You Must Have:

• Typically requires: A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field.
• Experience managing supplier performance relative to financials, performance metrics, and/or contract compliance
• The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required.
• U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

 

Qualifications We Prefer:

• Experience in Material Forecasting, Material Requirements Planning (MRP), Material
• Estimate at Complete (EAC), and/or Earned Value (EV)
• Experience managing cost and schedule for complex, high value programs 
• Understanding of the Manufacturing processes

The salary range for this role is 68,900 USD - 131,100 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
