Key Responsibilities

CI/CD Pipeline Management:

• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines
• Automate build, test, release, and deployment workflows
• Improve pipeline efficiency, speed, and reliability
• Manage versioning, branching, and deployment strategies

Platform & Infrastructure Automation:

• Manage cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
• Provision and maintain environments (Dev, INT, UAT, Production)
• Ensure environment consistency and repeatability
• Optimise cloud resource usage and costs

Reliability & Performance Engineering:

• Ensure system availability, scalability, and performance
• Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues
• Improve deployment success rate and reduce failures

Collaboration & Enablement:

• Work closely with development and QA teams
• Enable teams to adopt CI/CD best practices
• Improve developer experience and deployment workflows
• Support release coordination across teams

Production Support and Operational Excellence:

• Support production deployments and post-deployment validation activities.
• Participate in incident response, RCA, and corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with defined standards, processes, and operational procedures.

Governance, Reliability & Cost Optimization:

• Security, compliance, audit, and change management awareness within DevOps processes.
• Release governance, deployment approvals, rollback planning, and deployment readiness checks.
• Disaster recovery, backup validation, and business continuity support.
• Platform reliability KPIs and ownership of operational metrics.
• Risk identification, mitigation, and escalation management.
• Root Cause Analysis (RCA) ownership and preventive action tracking.
• Environment governance and access management best practices.
• Cost optimization and FinOps accountability at appropriate role levels.

Other

• Carries out any other reasonable duties as requested within the scope of IMG R&D team.

Functional Competencies (Technical Knowledge/Skills)

• Proficient in designing and managing automated CI/CD pipelines and release processes.
• Strong understanding of release, deployment, and environment management practices.
• Skilled in ensuring service readiness, stability, and operational compliance across environments.
• Experienced in incident investigation, root cause analysis, and issue resolution.
• Proficient in scripting and automation for deployments, infrastructure provisioning, and operational tasks.
• Strong knowledge of DevOps tools, cloud platforms, infrastructure as code (IaC), and CI/CD best practices.

Experience, Education and Certifications

• Strong hands-on experience with Azure DevOps / GitHub CI/CD pipelines
• Experience designing and managing CI/CD workflows
• Strong experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Bicep, ARM)
• Experience with monitoring and logging tools
• Experience managing cloud environments (Azure preferred)
• Strong scripting skills (PowerShell, Bash, Python)
• Containerization platform experience
• Cloud certifications (AZ-400, etc.)
• Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience
• Minimum 3+ years in DevOps / Platform Engineering
• ITIL Foundation knowledge desirable
• English: Fluent
