Solution Architect

A leading organisation is recruiting on behalf of a client for an experienced Solution Architect to play a pivotal role in delivering a fully automated and digital Developer & Integration Portal. This is an opportunity to lead architecture across complex API ecosystems, Host-to-Host integrations, digital onboarding journeys and enterprise-grade platforms that will shape the future of client integration experiences.

Responsibilities:

• Define and drive solution, integration, security and information architecture across a large-scale digital transformation programme.
• Design scalable and secure Developer and Integration Portal capabilities covering discovery, sandbox testing, onboarding and administration.
• Provide architectural guidance across API ecosystems, workflow orchestration and digital onboarding solutions.
• Ensure alignment with enterprise architecture standards, governance requirements and security best practices.
• Collaborate with business, technical and delivery teams to translate requirements into robust architectural solutions.
• Support cloud-native architecture, identity and access management, automation and integration initiatives.
• Provide design assurance and technical leadership throughout the delivery lifecycle.
• Contribute to knowledge transfer, documentation and long-term capability building.

Requirements:

• Extensive experience as a Solution Architect within large enterprise environments.
• Strong expertise in solution, integration and security architecture.
• Proven experience working with API ecosystems, developer portals and digital onboarding platforms.
• Knowledge of Host-to-Host integration onboarding, workflow automation and enterprise integration patterns.
• Experience with identity and access management, OAuth2/OIDC and role-based access control.
• Strong understanding of cloud-native architectures, container platforms and modern application design principles.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement, communication and leadership skills.
• A track record of delivering complex digital transformation and integration programmes successfully.
