What You'll Actually Be Doing
- Coaching, not just managing. Weekly one-on-ones, joint customer calls, real feedback - you'll be in the field with your team, not just reviewing their pipeline from a spreadsheet.
- Building the playbook. Design onboarding for new hires and structured coaching frameworks so your team's success doesn't depend on tribal knowledge.
- Owning key customer relationships and partnering with Marketing to build local campaigns and events that actually move the needle.
- Reading the market - forecasting, coverage planning and staying ahead of where the business is heading.
What We're Looking For
- A track record of developing people - reps who got better, faster and stayed longer because of you.
- Experience designing or running sales training, onboarding, or coaching programs
- 10+ years in sales and/or marketing leadership.
- Building materials or construction-adjacent B2B experience is a strong asset - windows and doors knowledge specifically is nice to have, not a dealbreaker.
- Comfort with CRM tools and the discipline to actually use them.
