Payroll Officer

Location: Henderson

We are seeking an experienced Payroll Officer to join our client in Henderson on a temporary basis for approximately four months. Candidates must be prepared to work over Christmas and New Year, excluding public holidays, and should only apply if they are comfortable making this commitment.

This is an important role within a busy payroll function and would suit someone with solid payroll experience who can quickly learn new processes and systems. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the payroll function continues to operate smoothly, particularly during the busy Christmas and New Year period.

Key Responsibilities

 

• Accurately and efficiently process payroll.

• Maintain payroll records and ensure employee information is kept up to date.

• Support the wider finance team with payroll-related activities.

• Ensure payroll deadlines are consistently met.

• Provide additional payroll support during periods of staff leave.

• Assist with maintaining continuity of payroll operations during the Christmas period.

 

About You

• Previous payroll experience – essential.

• Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.

• The ability to work independently and meet strict deadlines.

• A reliable, flexible and proactive approach to work.

• The ability to quickly learn new systems and processes.

• Pronto experience is highly desirable.
