Description
Position Specific Responsibilities/Accountabilities
Provide information to prospective students regarding the admissions and application process; respond to phone, email and chat inquiries; provide campus tours and meet with prospects.
Process applications and required documents; use application systems, BANNER and other university systems as necessary.
Generate reports for processing and to collate files for review; create electronic admissions files.
Troubleshoot problems with individual applications and contact applicants as necessary.
Enter/process admissions decisions; generate decision letters and emails.
Provide appropriate follow-up with decisions; maintain LLS application status checker.
Create emails, flyers and invitations for prospective students; assist with events as needed.
Create and modify newsletters for admits and applicants.
Update general Admissions web pages.
Assist with a variety of special projects and events.
Register and maintain information for recruitment events; coordinate and ship materials; recruit at local graduate and law school fairs (some travel may be required).
Take appointment requests for Associate Dean, Director and Assistant Directors of Admissions.
Pick-up and process mail daily.
Order office supplies and keep track of office inventory.
Perform other related duties as assigned or requested. The Law School reserves the right to add or change duties at any time.

Requisite Qualifications:
Typically, a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience. Incumbent will be expected to continue upgrading knowledge, skills and abilities to keep abreast of relevant regulation/policy changes.
Experience providing administrative support in an admissions office or other area of higher education is preferred.
Some knowledge of standard office procedures, word processing, spreadsheet, email and databases. (Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
Successful candidate will have excellent customer service skills and the ability to work with a variety of people; be able to learn quickly; work with multiple supervisors and perform several job duties at once with efficiency and accuracy.
Good communication and interpersonal skills (both written and oral); poise and professionalism necessary to represent the University independently before a variety of constituencies.

Staff RegularSalary range
